Geese!!

Here's Mary's block, which was mailed last month but never posted here.

I am SO grateful for Stephanie's heads-up about cutting carefully and Amanda Jean's mini-tutorial on cutting the pieces using a template.  I am quite sure I would have botched it TERRIBLY without your help.  I also realized part way through that it would work better if two sides of each square were extended so Mary could trim it down.  Hope that helped!

Here are Jackie's geese.

Loved having her tutorial.  Certainly am learning more about paper piecing than I ever anticipated!  Can't wait to start those blue Bear Claws!!!

Slacking Geese!

Two's Company Quilt Bee: Mary

Anything you do on Leap Day doesn't count, right? So, the fact that I'm finally posting a photo of Mary's January circle of geese block (which you should have already gotten in the mail by now, I hope!), its lateness is magically erased at midnight?

I wish that were my only fault, but sadly I'm still working on Jackie's block (sorry, it's coming soon!). Also, March is my month, and that's about 10 minutes from now, and I think I will get a post up about it right in time--but the fabric is in the mail, so you might not have it on the first day of the month. I'm slacking, but I'm trying to catch up! Thank you all for your patience!

Block For Mary

Hello Everyone,

Mary, it is done!  Actually, I must confess... I finished it on the last day of January.

I have been procrastinating sending it out because I love it so much and it looks fantastic on my design wall.  But alas, it will be in the mail tomorrow!

I love it and I hope you do too!

Until Next Time...
